DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES:
- Mainly responsible for supervision of rank and file staff in the Department in the absence of the Engineering Supervisor.
- Responsible for the quick response of technicians during machine trouble and for the repair and maintenance of all machines.
- Plans and schedules preventive maintenance of machines on a daily, weekly, monthly quarterly and annual basis in coordination in Maintenance Planner.
- Implements and keeps a record of equipment history as far as maintenance is concerned.
- Generates forms that are relevant to the Engineering Department.
- Assists in scheduling manpower rotation and shifting on weekly on on a per need basis.
- Actively participates in strategic planning, budgeting, goals and objective setting of the Engineering / Maintenance Group.
- Develops and conducts both individually and collectively as a team, the training of maintenance technician/s on electrical / electronic application relevant to production.
- Keeps track of all maintenance requests and work orders through a backlog sheet.
- Assists in supervision of all projects within the production line
- Performs other tasks as that may be assigned by the Immediate Superior from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (ECE, Electrical Engineering, etc preferably)
- With at least two years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing industry
