Job summary

A manufacturing firm in the Mimaropa region is seeking a licensed Electrical/Mechanical Engineer for plant maintenance and oversight. The role includes monitoring facilities, problem-solving, and compliance with regulations. Candidates should have at least three years of relevant experience, knowledge in AutoCAD and SolidWorks, and be willing to work in Sta. Rosa City, Laguna. This is a full-time position available immediately.

Qualifications

  • At least three years of working experience in a manufacturing setup as Engineer.

  • Monitor, maintain and control the building plant facilities and equipment.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to current systems.
  • Conduct evaluations of company premises to ensure safety standards.

Job description
Job Objective

Under the direct supervision of the Asst. Manager, responsible for building plan facility maintenance, preventive maintenance, management and supervision of projects as well as the implementation, processing of regulatory compliance monitoring and permits pertaining to Electrical.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Monitors, maintains and controls the building plant facilities and equipment of the company.
  2. Evaluates and makes recommendations in the improvements of current system.
  3. Analyzes the problems and formulates counter measures.
  4. Makes the necessary coordination with end-users, suppliers and contractors.
  5. Ensures that the company complies with all the government prescribed regulations and specifications are met and within corporate and local code standards.
  6. Provides technical support and assistance to the different departments whenever necessary.
  7. Performs internal auditing for EMS.
  8. Acts as a liaison in different regulatory government agencies whenever necessary.
  9. Conducts evaluation of company premises and equipment to ensure that safety standards are met and followed.
  10. Acts as Resident Engineer of the company.
  11. Monitors the performance of his team members and provides guidance and training whenever necessary.
  12. Ensures that effective 5S is implemented in the workplace.
  13. Performs and participates in all corporate quality, productivity, continuous improvement, occupational safety and health, environmental initiatives and programs.
  14. Performs other duties and responsibilities which may be assigned by the superior from time to time.
Job Specifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering Graduate;
  • Licensed and Registered Electrical/ Mechanical Engineer;
  • With at least three (3) years of working experience in a manufacturing set- up as Engineer;
  • With knowledge in processing of permit and other government related documents;
  • Knowledgeable in AutoCad (2D & 3D) and Solid works;
  • Willing to work in Sta. Rosa City, Laguna and can start immediately;
  • One (1) full time position available.
