Job summary

EssilorLuxottica is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to oversee maintenance of building facilities, utilities, and laboratory equipment, ensuring reliability and safe operations across the plant. You will report to the Maintenance Head and support production by minimizing downtime.

The role emphasizes execution of maintenance plans, coordination with contractors, and contributing to safety and compliance initiatives within the facility.

Qualifications

• High school graduate with vocational diploma or 2–3 years of college.
• Engineering degree is an advantage.
• Knowledge of PLC, controls, wiring, pneumatics, hydraulics and electrical systems.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Fair English proficiency; willingness to overtime and travel 50%.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production machines and plant facilities through preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment.
• Monitor equipment breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
• Inspect alarm systems and schedule repairs when necessary.
• Support production to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Assist third-party contractors in setup, maintenance, and repair activities.
• Provide technical support to maintenance staff and generate improvement ideas.
