Job summary

OPARAN PHILS OPC is seeking a diligent maintenance technician to perform regular inspections of buildings, grounds, electrical systems, and equipment to identify issues before they escalate. You will diagnose and repair mechanical or electrical malfunctions, perform routine servicing, assemble new machinery, manage parts, and maintain safety and cleanliness standards.

The role requires keeping maintenance logs and shifting reports, with emphasis on safety protocols and reliable operation of fire

Responsibilities

• Regularly checking buildings, grounds, electrical system, and equipment to identify potential issues before they become major problems
• Diagnosing mechanical or electrical malfunctions using diagnostic tools and repairing or replacing defective components
• Handle necessary repairs and maintenance tasks, including minor building repairs such as fixing drywall, repairing doors, and addressing plumbing issues
• Performing routine inspections and scheduled servicing, such as lubricating machinery or replacing filters, to catch issues before they lead to costly breakdowns
• Assembling and setting up new machinery or appliances to ensure they are integrated and operating correctly
• Tracking supplies and ordering parts or tools needed for upcoming repairs
• Adhering to strict safety protocols, maintaining a clean workspace, and ensuring fire and security systems are functional
• Keep a detailed maintenance log and write shift reports to document tasks
