Job summary

Kanepackage Philippine Inc. is seeking a responsible truck driver to ensure safe and timely delivery of cargo while maintaining vehicle safety standards and coordinating with logistics teams.

You will perform truck checklists, report mechanical issues, coordinate delivery schedules, check driving documents, observe traffic rules near PEZA zones, secure cargo, plan routes, assist with unloading when needed, perform daily truck maintenance, and interact with customers professionally.

Qualifications

• At least high school graduate.
• Relevant experience.
• Valid driver's license with restrictions A, A1, B, B1, B2, C and D.

Responsibilities

• Perform checklist of truck to ensure safety equipment and supplies are available.
• Report and correct mechanical issues with the vehicle before driving.
• Coordinate with Logistics Coordinator regarding delivery schedules.
• Check all documents necessary for driving.
• Observe traffic rules inside and outside PEZA zone areas.
• Secure cargo and balance it within the vehicle.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
• Assist helper in unloading when urgent delivery is required.
• Perform daily maintenance of truck (refueling, cleaning).
• Interact with customers in a professional manner.

About the role

This is a truck driver position responsible for safe and timely delivery of cargo while maintaining vehicle safety standards and coordinating with logistics teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform checklist of truck to ensure all safety equipment and supplies are available
• Ensure any mechanical issues with the vehicle are reported to Mechanic and corrected before driving
• Communicate and coordinate with Logistics Coordinator regarding delivery schedules
• Check all documents necessary for driving
• During delivery, observe and follow applicable traffic rules and regulations inside and outside PEZA zone areas
• Secure cargo and properly arrange and balance it within the vehicle
• Plan routes and ensure meeting delivery schedule
• Assist helper in unloading of items specially at times when urgent delivery is required
• Perform daily maintenance of truck (refueling, cleaning, etc.)
• Interact with customers in a professional manner
