Job summary

East West Rural Bank, Inc. is seeking a Loans Specialist-Sales (Marketing) to perform site visits, engage customers, and drive loan sales in Cebu/Minglanilla. You will verify documents, underwrite loans, and monitor status, while supporting collections and promotions.

The role requires a 4-year degree, background in loans/microfinance is a plus, strong MS Office skills, and a driving license. Local residency is preferred for timely field work.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a 4-year course, preferably Business-related.
• Background in Loans and Microfinance is an advantage.
• Resident within 30 minutes travel time to the store location.
• Very good MS Office Application Proficiency.
• Good Judgment, verbal and written communication, and problem solving.
• Good human relations, customer-focused, and results oriented.
• Fast learner and willing to learn.
• Detail oriented with integrity and teamwork.
• Has driving skills with a valid license.

Responsibilities

• Do site/area visits (field work) within the area and nearby towns.
• Perform sales and marketing on bank products.
• Engage clients, conduct product orientation and other marketing strategies.
• Facilitate loan applications to clients.
• Verify authenticity of loan document attachments.
• Review loan forms; evaluate, follow up; conduct Know Your Customer and underwriting.
• Ensure efficient loan document prep and processing.
• Facilitate loan approval.
• Monitor loan application status.
• Prepare and submit accurate loan reports on time.
• Monitor loans to maintain low past due rate.
• Ensure releases are billed and deducted on the effective date.
• Prepare justification for deviations.
• Assist in collections and promotion activities.
