Job summary

JCAP Construction is seeking a licensed Mechanical Engineer for an on-site role in Cebu. The position requires 2-3 years of experience in mechanical works (sanitary and waterline) and knowledge in engineering planning, designing, and AutoCAD. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

The candidate will supervise site activities, coordinate with management, manage manpower, materials and equipment, and ensure quality and timely completion. Immediate start is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed Mechanical Engineer.
• 2-3 years of work experience in mechanical works (sanitary and waterline).
• Knowledge in engineering planning, designing and AutoCAD.
• Proficient in written and oral communication skills and good human relations.
• Must be able to meet deadlines and commitments.
• Can start ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Site supervision, monitoring and implementation;
• Over all in-charge of all site manpower;
• Trains and develop subordinates;
• Check the work in accordance with quality requirements;
• Coordinate works between project site and management with manpower, materials and equipment;
• Responsible for effective site operations and timely completion as scheduled;
• Prepare complete reports updating head office on status of issues and recommended resolutions;
• Turn-over and preparation of project close out;
• Prepares and submits project operating plan and billing documents;
• Coordinates with other departments to resolve concerns that may help;
• Estimate and ordering of materials needed.
