Job summary

Rockwell Land Corporation is seeking a dedicated Facilities Engineer to oversee operation and maintenance of building systems in our retail environments in Metro Manila. The role requires a Licensed Electrical/Mechanical Engineer and strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

The ideal candidate will manage maintenance procedures, coordinate with contractors, monitor energy use, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Licensed Electrical/Mechanical Engineer certification required.
• Experience in facilities management, preferably in a retail or commercial environment.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection).
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong project management with multitasking ability.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Rotating schedule availability.
• Willing to be assigned to projects within Metro Manila.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation and maintenance of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve issues in building systems and equipment.
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures for optimal facility functioning.
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for repairs and maintenance.
• Monitor energy usage and implement energy efficiency strategies.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Prepare and manage facilities budget, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and resolve them efficiently.
• Collaborate with other departments to support retail operations and address facility issues.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
