51Talk is a global online education platform delivering English lessons to students worldwide. This role involves conducting one-on-one sessions with learners through the 51Talk platform, using supplied materials and guidelines to ensure engaging, structured lessons.
Ideal candidates are fluent in English, hold a Bachelor's degree, and may have ESL teaching experience. Training is provided, with performance incentives and opportunities for professional growth.
Conduct one-on-one English lessons through the 51Talk platform
Deliver engaging and structured lessons using provided teaching materials
Maintain a professional and conducive online teaching environment
Follow lesson guidelines and conduct scheduled classes on time
Create positive learning experiences for students from around the world
Passion for English teaching
Fluent English speaker with clear and natural communication skills
Bachelor's degree in any field
ESL or classroom teaching experience is preferred
TESOL, TEFL, or other teaching certifications are an advantage
Desktop or laptop with Windows 10 or later, Intel Core i5 (8th Gen+) or AMD Ryzen 5+, 8GB RAM, and 100GB available storage
HD webcam (720p or higher)
Noise-cancelling headset with an extended microphone
Stable broadband or wired internet connection with at least 25 Mbps (Pocket Wi-Fi and mobile hotspots are not accepted)
Quiet, distraction-free teaching space with a plain white background and adequate front-facing lighting
Weekdays: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Weekends: 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM
