Job summary

Counterflow Movers, Inc. in Makati seeks a licensed Customs Broker with at least 2 years brokerage experience to join our operations team. You will verify tariff classifications, duties and taxes, and prepare necessary permits and documents for shipments.

Key tasks include processing customs declarations, monitoring entry status, updating clients and internal teams, and supporting regulatory compliance. A BS in Customs Administration is required.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed broker with at least 2 years brokerage experience.
• Knowledgeable in computing duties and taxes.
• Graduates of Bachelor of Science in Customs Administration.

Responsibilities

• Determine and verify proper tariff classification, customs valuation, and applicable duties and taxes.
• Assist in securing and processing permits, clearances, certificates, and other regulatory requirements for shipments.
• Prepare, review, and process customs declarations and import documentation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Monitor the status of customs entries, shipments, assessments, examinations, releases, and related transactions.
• Prepare reports on pending, released, and completed customs transactions as required by management.
• Prepares documents to be processed by the processors.
• Provide timely updates to clients and internal departments regarding status and requirements of customs transactions.
• Request advances for processing and releasing shipments.
• Other tasks in operations that may be assigned by Management.
