Job summary

Energy Development Corporation seeks a qualified Accountant to maintain the General Ledger, analyze transactions, and ensure adherence to accounting standards. The role requires CPA certification, a BS in Accountancy, and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Strong communication, organization, and discretion with sensitive information are essential. The successful candidate will manage monthly receivable, loan and fixed asset transactions, compute depreciation, and support_inventory

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Accountancy required.
Certified Public Accountant certificate required or preferred.
Knowledge of basic Microsoft applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Able to communicate ideas, concepts and processes clearly.
Good work attitude required.

Responsibilities

Maintain and control the General Ledger and analyze organizational transactions.
Ensure timely and reliable booking of monthly receivable and loan-related transactions in accordance with accounting standards.
Ensure timely and reliable booking of fixed assets and related transactions; compute asset depreciation.
Provide accurate cost of inventories and report cash and general ledger balances for cash flow planning.
Provide technical support to meet division needs and requirements.
