Job summary

The Vertiv Global Learning Data Analytics and Technology (DAT) team is seeking a motivated Learning Operations Data Analyst to support the ongoing development and maintenance of the Vertiv Learning ecosystem. This role provides hands‑on experience with learning technologies, system integrations, and automation processes that support global learning operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine LMS data maintenance activities, including bulk updates and data corrections.
• Support data quality efforts by identifying inconsistencies and assisting with cleanup activities.
• Assist in monitoring training data ingestion into enterprise systems such as the data lake.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure data accuracy and consistency across platforms.
• Follow established data governance standards and documentation practices.
• Assist in building and maintaining automations related to LMS workflows, notifications, and data transfers.
• Support the use of APIs to facilitate communication between systems.
• Help test and validate automated workflows to ensure reliability and accuracy.
• Contribute to small‑scale enhancements that improve efficiency of learning operations processes.

Position Overview

The Vertiv Global Learning Data Analytics and Technology (DAT) team is seeking a motivated Learning Operations Data Analyst to support the ongoing development and maintenance of the Vertiv Learning ecosystem. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands‑on experience working with learning technologies, system integrations, and automation processes that support global learning operations. The analyst will partner with senior team members to assist in connecting systems, improving data flow, and supporting enhancements to the Learning Management System (LMS) and related platforms.

You will contribute to global learning initiatives across manufacturing, field services, sales, IT, and enterprise functions, while building foundational technical skills in APIs, data integration, and process automation.

Responsibilities

Data Management & System Operations

• Perform routine LMS data maintenance activities, including bulk updates and data corrections.
• Support data quality efforts by identifying inconsistencies and assisting with cleanup activities.
• Assist in monitoring training data ingestion into enterprise systems such as the data lake.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure data accuracy and consistency across platforms.
• Follow established data governance standards and documentation practices.

Automation & Process Support

• Assist in building and maintaining automations related to LMS workflows, notifications, and data transfers.
• Support the use of APIs to facilitate communication between systems.

Reporting & Analysis Support

• Assist in collecting and preparing learning data for reporting and analysis.
• Support development of dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Power BI.
• Help identify trends in learner activity, completion rates, and system usage.
• Partner with team members to understand stakeholder reporting requests.

  System Integration Support

  • Assist in the integration of external systems (e.g., LMS, HCM, vendor platforms, PRM tools, attendance systems, AR/VR learning) with Vertiv Learning.
  • Support testing and validation of data exchanges between systems and the LMS.
  • Troubleshoot basic integration issues and elevate more complex problems to senior team members.
  • Help document system connections, data flows, and integration requirements.
  • Participate in onboarding new tools or vendors into the learning technology ecosystem.

  Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Work closely with the DAT team to support ongoing system enhancements.
  • Participate in team discussions related to process improvements and system optimization.
  • Maintain documentation of processes, integrations, and system configurations.
  • Build foundational knowledge of learning technologies and enterprise data systems.
  • Support knowledge sharing and documentation efforts across the team.

  Qualifications
