Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking a Safety Officer to implement and supervise occupational risk prevention measures across offices, maintenance areas and real estate projects. You will tailor prevention plans, monitor regulatory compliance, and investigate incidents.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in construction or related field, an HSE certification (BOSH/COSH/OSH), and at least five years of Safety Officer experience. A proactive, detail‑oriented mindset is essential.

Minimum 5 years’ experience as Safety Officer.
Detail-oriented and proactive.
Tailor prevention plans to different environments.

Responsibilities

Conduct risk assessments at work centers and workstations, identifying and documenting potential safety risks and other prevention measures, tailored to offices, maintenance areas, and real estate projects.
Update and adjust specific prevention plans for each business division, ensuring measures align with area characteristics.
Monitor compliance with occupational health and safety regulations in operations and strategic projects, with focus on mobility, logistics, and construction units.
Investigate accidents with team members, analyzing root causes and proposing corrective and preventive measures.
Ensure consistent implementation of the corporate risk prevention protocol across all areas and businesses.
Adapt and translate corporate objectives to needs of each business, integrating into operational plans.
Collaborate with corporate areas and leaders to monitor corrective actions from assessments and audits.
Conduct periodic visits to work centers to verify compliance and evaluate corrective actions.
