Job summary

Virginia Food, Inc (VFI) in Compostela, Cebu, is seeking a Mechanical, Plumbing, Welding & Fabrication Supervisor to lead the daily operations of the section. You will ensure efficient use of manpower, materials, and plant resources while maintaining GMP, SSOP, HACCP, and safety standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or power plants, plus strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or power plant environments.
• Licensed Mechanical Engineer is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Food Safety, QMS, GMP, SSOP, HACCP, and Occupational Safety standards.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining accurate technical records.
• Able to lead teams, optimize resources, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the daily operations of the Mechanical, Plumbing, Welding & Fabrication Section.
• Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, materials, and plant resources.
• Monitor compliance with GMP, SSOP, HACCP, and Process Control standards.
• Supervise equipment installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Resolve technical issues affecting plant operations and equipment reliability.
• Drive continuous improvement and recommend cost-saving initiatives for plant utilities and operations.
