Job summary

GCash in the Philippines is seeking a senior corporate finance professional to lead forecasting, strategic planning, and capital allocation across the group. You will build and maintain financial models, support M&A processes, and guide portfolio performance to meet strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• More than 5 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, investor relations, M&A, valuation, financial planning, or transaction advisory.
• Solid understanding of capital structure, funding instruments, and financial metrics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to accuracy and detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
• High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling sensitive financial information.
• CFA, MBA, or CPA candidate is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the Group’s rolling medium-term financial forecast with key stakeholders.
• Prepare management presentations, briefing materials, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Act as liaison of the CFO Office for financial and governance matters requiring Board, Excom, Audit Committee, and RPT review.
• Monitor the financial health, capital requirements, and strategic alignment of portfolio companies and directly held entities.
• Review Board materials, initiatives, and financial developments across portfolio companies; oversee capital infusions, restructures, and intercompany arrangements.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support valuations, investment assessments, and strategic decisions; support M&A processes and deal structuring.
• Prepare ad hoc analyses, presentations, and reports in support of governance requirements.

Responsibilities

Business & Strategic Planning

• Support the development, maintenance, and continuous enhancement of the Group’s rolling medium-term financial forecast in coordination with key stakeholders.
• Assist in preparing management presentations, briefing materials, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Act as a liaison of the CFO Office for financial and governance matters requiring review by the Board, Excom, Audit Committee, and RPT Committee.

Business Unit & Portfolio Oversight

• Monitor the financial health, capital requirements, and strategic alignment of portfolio companies and directly held entities.
• Review Board materials, strategic initiatives, and key financial developments across portfolio companies.
• Oversee significant financial and corporate actions, including capital infusions, restructures, dividends, and intercompany arrangements.
• Ensure that major financial decisions across entities remain aligned with Group governance standards and capital allocation priorities.

M&A, Investments & Capital Allocation

• Develop and maintain financial models to support valuations, investment assessments, and strategic decision-making.
• Evaluate transaction structures and support execution of investment, divestment, and strategic partnership activities.
• Support M&A processes, including financial due diligence, valuation, and deal structuring.
• Monitor portfolio companies post-transaction, including financial performance, operational metrics, and realization of strategic objectives and synergies.

Other Strategic Support

• Prepare ad hoc analyses, presentations, and reports in support of business, investment, and governance requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• More than 5 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, investor relations, M&A, valuation, financial planning, or transaction advisory (experience in Big 4 or investment banking a strong advantage).
• Solid understanding of capital structure, funding instruments, and financial metrics.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with attention to accuracy and detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to work effectively with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling sensitive financial information.
