Job summary

2GO Group, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Mechanical Maintenance Lead in Metro Manila to head the LBE maintenance team. You will drive preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot diesel engines, and coordinate parts and tooling to minimize downtime.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, 5+ years in repair/maintenance (1+ year LBE), and strong execution skills under pressure. A valid driver’s license is needed, NC II is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in equipment repair and maintenance, with at least 1 year in LBE.
• Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance, mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and maintenance planning.
• Technical expertise in diesel engine diagnostics and repair, transmission systems, preventive maintenance inspections, diagnostic tools, spare-parts management, and equipment reliability.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues and identify defective, worn, or damaged components.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while minimizing equipment downtime.
• Valid driver’s license.
• NC II certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the LBE maintenance team to keep equipment safe, reliable, and operational.
• Perform and lead hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions, and other equipment issues.
• Identify required parts, tools, and diagnostic equipment for repairs.
• Inspect equipment condition and recommend component replacement.
• Oversee equipment overhaul activities including inspection, disassembly, repair, reconditioning, and reassembly.
• Train and mentor technicians; provide hands-on guidance.
• Collaborate with operators and technicians to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Promote a clean, organized, and safe work environment according to safety standards.
