Our Clients in Makati City is seeking a Lead Developer to guide the technical direction, manage a development team, and design robust, scalable applications. You will bridge business requirements and execution to ensure timely delivery with high quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership, deep technical expertise across modern stacks, and proven experience leading projects in a fast-paced onsite/hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as Lead Developer or in a similar leadership role.
• Strong proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., .NET, Java, Python, React/Angular/Node.js).
• Extensive experience with databases, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design, development, and deployment of software applications and internal platforms.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and code reviews to maintain high coding standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, PMs and stakeholders to define scope and technical requirements.
• Architect scalable, secure system infrastructures and optimize performance.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement long-term solutions.

Role Summary

In this role, you are responsible for guiding the technical direction of software development initiatives, managing a team of developers, and designing robust, scalable applications. You will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and technical execution, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with the company's high standards of quality and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of software applications and internal platforms.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and code reviews for junior and mid-level developers to maintain high coding standards.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, project managers, and stakeholders to define project scope and technical requirements.
• Architect scalable, secure system infrastructures and optimize application performance.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, debug code, and implement effective, long-term solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Lead Developer, Senior Developer, or in a similar technical leadership capacity.
• Strong proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., .NET, Java, Python, React, Angular, or Node.js depending on the firm's specific tech stack).
• Extensive experience with database management systems, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team management skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced onsite environment.
