Job summary

optiBPO in Clark, Pampanga seeks an experienced CAD Design Engineer to lead Autodesk Inventor workflows, develop templates, libraries and configurators, and ensure drafting standards for pump stations, skids and pipework.

You will perform FEA, set up Vault, and mentor the drafting team while collaborating with international clients across Australia, New Zealand, the US, Canada and Europe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 7+ years using Autodesk Inventor as your main design tool, including 3+ years on fabricated steel, stainless, or sheet metal products.
• Proven pumping and piping experience designing pump sets, pump stations, skids, pipework or valve arrangements.
• Strong iLogic skills with examples you can show.
• Experience creating and administering Content Center libraries, templates and standards for a team.
• Advanced Inventor skills in parts, assemblies, Frame Generator, Sheet Metal, and drawings.
• Hands-on linear-static FEA on fabricated structures.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Design automation and CAD standards for pump stations and pipework.
• Set up Content Center libraries and BOM structures.
• Maintain Inventor drafting standards and templates.
• Train drafting team on standards and review drawings.
• Design mechanical structures like skids, frames, supports.
• Prepare GA and fabrication drawings and cut lists.
• Document standards and libraries for team use.
