DMCI Homes in Makati is seeking a landscape maintenance professional to support planning, supervision and technical guidance for on-site horticulture and landscape tasks. You will assist in program planning, soil testing, irrigation and pest management, while coordinating with maintenance staff and PMO.

The role requires knowledge of horticultural practices, plant care and equipment handling, with capability to supervise site work and maintain records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Forestry or Environmental-related fields.
• At least six months’ work experience in landscape maintenance with on-site exposure to plant health and pest management.
• Knowledgeable about horticultural practices, plant care, propagation and landscape maintenance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office for reporting, inventory management, data analysis and communication.
• Knowledgeable in tree pruning, lawn care and pest management.
• Familiar with tools, equipment and machinery used in landscape maintenance.
• Able to work collaboratively with a diverse team of horticulturists and landscape architects, landscape maintenance personnel, internal and external clients.
• Physically fit to perform hands-on tasks such as plant care, equipment handling and site inspections.

Responsabilités

• Assists in planning and optimizing maintenance work program and resources to maintain plant health and quality.
• Provides technical guidance to maintenance personnel on propagation and tasks to meet work program targets.
• Provides technical support on horticultural practices, including soil testing, irrigation, and pest management.
• Assists in the preparation of landscape maintenance proposals and site assessments.
• Monitors and maintains records of plant propagation and equipment, inventory, and timely replenishment.
• Monitors personnel attendance, performance, and safety compliance.
• Ensures regular preventive maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Conducts site supervision of maintenance personnel and coordinates toolbox meetings.
• Conducts regular site assessments to check plant health and task completion.
• Produces landscape maintenance reports and related documentation with the Landscape Maintenance Officer.
• Collaborates with the Landscape Maintenance Officer to resolve operational challenges and propose improvements.
• Prepares billing memos including overtime and additional works for timely processing.
• Assists in procurement through canvassing, costing and purchase requests for equipment and materials.
• Coordinates with purchasing and suppliers to obtain best value and proper documentation.
• Supports recruitment and training activities with HR for landscape maintenance personnel.
• Coordinates with Property Management Office to align work programs with goals.
• Endorses new personnel for orientation with PMO and ensures acknowledgement by PMO.
• Coordinates with suppliers for delivery of equipment, tools, and materials.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by the Landscape Maintenance Officer.
• Provides horticultural support to landscape architects and PMO as needed.
