Overview

The Laborer is responsible for performing various physical tasks to maintain and enhance the appearance of Memorial Park. Duties include landscaping, general upkeep, and supporting park events or maintenance projects.

Responsibilities

• Grounds Maintenance: Mow lawns, trim bushes, plant flowers, and maintain flower beds, trees, and shrubs.
• Trash & Debris Removal: Collect and dispose of trash, leaves, and debris to ensure the park remains clean and presentable.
• General Labor: Assist in setting up or tearing down park events, moving equipment, and performing repairs as needed.
• Maintenance of Equipment: Operate and maintain tools and machinery such as lawnmowers, leaf blowers, and hedge trimmers.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and report any hazards or maintenance issues.
• Customer Service: Assist visitors by providing general information about park facilities or events when needed.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
