Qualifications

• Graduate in Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with professional license.
• Minimum of five (5) years technical laboratory working experience in petroleum industry and/or three (3) years supervisory experience in petroleum industry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily laboratory operations and manage resources to ensure timely test results.
• Train and coach analysts; assign work and monitor compliance with standard test methods and procedures.
• Authorize receipt of samples, testing, method development/verification, reporting of results.
• Sign service proposals, test reports/certificates and cost of analysis in the absence of the Laboratory Manager.
• Supervise laboratory staff and ensure calibration/verification of equipment and adequate supplies.
