Job summary

Green Stone British International School in Madrid is seeking a Full-time KS3 Combined Science and Mathematics Teacher with Upper KS2 support, commencing 25th August 2026. The successful candidate will teach science and mathematics across KS3 and assist in Upper KS2 as needed.

The role requires a science or maths degree, a recognised teaching qualification, and strong English communication. Experience with international curricula and multilingual learners is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Science, Mathematics, Education, or related field.
• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, BEd, or equivalent).
• Experience teaching Science and/or Mathematics.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Knowledge of international curricula is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Teach Combined Science and Mathematics across KS3.
• Provide Upper KS2 support as required.
• Create engaging, challenging, and inclusive lessons.
• Differentiate to support EAL, SEND, and high-ability learners.
• Monitor progress and use data to inform teaching.
• Contribute to wider school life and collaborate with families.
