Job summary

• Willingness to collaborate with the team.
• Familiarity with Asian and local Filipino ingredients is advantageous.
• Certification in food safety preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and assembling food items according to established recipes and portion standards
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of workstation and kitchen areas
• Assisting with food preparation including chopping, slicing, mixing and other basic culinary tasks
• Washing, sanitising and storing kitchen equipment, utensils and dishes
• Following all food safety and hygiene protocols to prevent contamination
• Supporting plating and presentation of dishes according to specifications
• Receiving and storing ingredients and supplies, checking quality and expiration dates
• Assisting with stock rotation and maintaining inventory levels
• Responding to requests from senior kitchen staff and chefs
• Maintaining a safe and hazard-free working environment
