Job summary

KidStrong Reno, located in Juban, Philippines, seeks enthusiastic coaches for its developmentally appropriate kids training sessions. Successful candidates will coach children aged walking to 11 years and engage them in cognitive, physical, and character development activities. Coaches will work during weekday camps and have potential for additional hours through private parties.

The position requires a passion for working with children, prior coaching experience, and CPR certification. Flexible schedules and opportunities for advancement are included.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older.
• Prior coaching experience is preferred.
• Understanding of exercise technique and body mechanics is important.
• Positive motivating communication skills are essential.

What is KidStrong

KidStrong is a science-based kids training program that builds strong, confident, high-character kids. We do this in weekly, 45 minute developmentally-appropriate classes. Each class includes unique science-based fitness games led by highly trained, kid-focused coaches.

Role & Schedule

We are looking for individuals with an athletic or coaching background who ideally have experience coaching kids ages walking - 11 years old. The KidStrong Coach would focus on coaching children on cognitive, physical and character development that stems from evolving weekly curriculum. Our camps run weekdays 8am - 3:30p when local schools are out for holidays and staff development days.

Additional opportunity to increase scheduled hours through private parties and class coaching hours. Prior experience as a pediatric OT/PT is a plus, but not required!

Qualifications

Must be 18 or older

• Passion for working with children is non-negotiable!
• Prior experience coaching camps with students within the appropriate KidStrong age is preferred
• Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics
• CPR certified
• Positive, motivating and effective interpersonal communication skills
• Self-starter who just gets a job done

Compensation: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
