Job summary

Christian Broadcasting Network is seeking a video post-production professional in the Philippines to oversee material gathering for segments, edit offline and online, and create graphics for promotional content. You will ensure materials meet broadcast standards and provide final airing assets to other departments.

The role requires strong storytelling, fluency in English and Filipino, and the ability to work under pressure while adapting to changes. Prior experience in post-production is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Fine Arts, Major in Advertising or Multimedia course.
• Experience in video post-production is a plus.
• Knowledge of storytelling and editorial processes and principles.
• Proficiency in video/photo editing software including Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Avid.
• Computer proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
• Strong communication skills in English and Filipino.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to sudden changes.

• Operates character generator and/or VTR during tapings and events.
• Edits shows and company AV presentations; burns DVDs for clients.

• Ensures all editing materials are gathered on time for segment and show assembly.
• Ensures proper turnover of airing material to the logistics unit.
• Performs offline and online video editing.
• Creates graphics, motion graphics, and/or promotional video materials by compositing.
• Ensures that all produced video materials are according to broadcast quality standards.
• Provides final airing material for other departments.
• Secures all finished airing materials and segments by archiving according to required versions.
• Performs other related duties as may be assigned from time to time.
• Other functions:
  • Operates character generator and/or VTR during tapings, telethons, and other CBN events
  • Edits shows, company AV presentations (AVPs), burn DVDs for other CBN and non-CBN customers

Job Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Fine Arts, Major in Advertising or Multimedia course
• Years of experience in video post-production is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of storytelling and editorial processes and principles
• Workable knowledge in operation of video and photo editing software (Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Avid)
• Computer proficiency (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Good leadership, organizational, analytical, problem solving, time management, and interpersonal
• Good oral and written communication skills in English and Filipino
• Creative ability
• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to sudden changes
