Job summary

Vishay Israel in Manila is seeking a skilled Tool & Die technician to oversee service operations and operate a range of machine tools and hand tools. You will read specifications and use IT programs to design and calculate tools, and you will construct fixtures with synchronized parts.

You will also assist in ramp-up tests for new tools, diagnose dysfunctions, document processes, and support maintenance teams to ensure reliable production.

Qualifications

• Experience with shop floor tooling and maintenance.
• Ability to interpret drawings and tool specs.
• Familiarity with precision tooling and measurement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee tool & die service operations following internal guidelines.
• Operate shop machine tools and hand tools (e.g., lathe, drills, milling machines).
• Read specifications and use IT programs to design and calculate tools.
• Construct and repair tools, gauges, and fixtures with synchronized parts.
• Assist in ramp-up procedures for new tools, testing and diagnosing issues.
• Document work and results in the systems.
