Job summary

Manila Memorial Park is seeking a Junior Web Developer to build and maintain web apps using ReactJS, ES6+, HTML5 and CSS3. You will connect frontend interfaces to backend RESTful APIs and collaborate with designers and PMs to deliver user-focused features.

You should have 1–2 years of hands-on React experience, be familiar with API consumption via Fetch or Axios, and use Git for version control. Basic Linux knowledge and strong documentation skills are a plus.

About the role

Junior Web Developer role focused on developing and maintaining web applications using ReactJS, standard JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3. You will integrate frontend interfaces with backend RESTful APIs to display dynamic data, work alongside backend teams, and collaborate with designers and project managers to deliver user-focused features.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using ReactJS, standard JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3

• Integrate frontend interfaces with backend RESTful APIs to display dynamic data

• Work alongside backend teams with a general understanding of how data is structured and retrieved from databases

• Write clean, reusable components and modular code following team coding standards

• Track code changes, collaborate on branches, and resolve pull requests using Git

• Collaborate with backend developers, designers, and project managers to deliver user-focused features

• Debug, test, and optimize application performance across desktop and mobile devices

About you

• 1–2 years of hands-on commercial experience using React (functional components, React Hooks like useState and useEffect)

• Strong understanding of consuming RESTful APIs using standard libraries (Fetch API or Axios)

• Proficiency with Git for code tracking, branching, and PR workflows (GitHub/GitLab)

• Basic familiarity with MySQL and relational database concepts (understanding data tables, primary keys, and standard API-to-database workflows)

• Strong foundations in HTML5, modern CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+ array methods, async/await, promises)

• Basic familiarity with any Linux operating system

• Strong skills in technical documentation
