Job summary

TOA Global Pty is seeking a Junior SMSF Accountant to join its Australian accounting practice from the Philippines. The role focuses on SMSF fund administration, pensions, contributions, and rollovers under supervision to ensure accuracy and compliance with ATO standards.

You bring 1–2 years of SMSF experience, a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance, and familiarity with BGL (Simple Fund 360) or Class Super.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of mandatory SMSF experience in an Australian accounting firm or public practice.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field required.
• Solid understanding of SMSF administration (contributions, pensions, rollovers) and hands-on knowledge of SMSF software such as BGL (Simple Fund 360) or Class Super.

Responsibilities

• Master the essential building blocks of SMSF accounting, handling contributions, pensions and rollovers with precision.
• Prepare foundational SMSF financial statements and tax returns aligning with ATO standards and SMSF regulations.
• Assist in preparing workpapers and documentation for external audits with accurate records.
