Job summary

Whitecloak is seeking a Junior QA Engineer to join our quality assurance team in the Philippines. You will help design test cases, execute them, and document results to ensure software quality.

Collaborate with developers and the QA lead, report defects promptly, and participate in SDLC activities. This role offers growth through hands-on testing and exposure to modern QA tools and methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• Understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies.
• Experience with QA concepts such as test case design and test execution.

Responsibilities:

• Creation of Test Cases, Data and test reports


• Execute test cases and raise any issues / defects encountered

• Report/Reach out to the QA lead for all testing related activities

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.


• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies


• Experience with software testing concepts (EG: Test Case Design, Test Execution and


• Experience with Test Management tools such as: Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, HP Alm,


• etc.


• At least 1 year proven experience doing QA work

Soft Skills:

• Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills


• Willingness to learn new tools and technologies


• Should be a team player with proactive attitude
