Silverlens Galleries is looking for a Junior Multimedia Designer to support our Media Team in creating engaging visual content for exhibitions, events, social media, and promotional campaigns. The role will primarily support New York-based content, with occasional Manila assignments, and will focus on graphic design, photography, video production, and social media content creation.
Create graphics, digital content, and short-form videos for Instagram, Facebook, and other social media platforms.
Photograph and document artworks, exhibitions, events, and gallery activities.
Edit and retouch photos while maintaining accurate color, composition, and brand standards.
Produce and edit short-form and long-form videos, including Instagram Reels.
Design posters, flyers, digital banners, and other promotional materials.
Assist with media coverage and content production during art fairs, exhibitions, and gallery events.
Format and prepare artists' CVs, portfolios, press releases, and other marketing collateral.
Collaborate with the Media Team, gallery staff, and artists to develop creative and accurate content.
Organize and maintain photo, video, and design asset libraries.
Stay updated on multimedia, graphic design, photography, video editing, and social media trends.
Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Arts, Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
1–2 years of experience in multimedia design, graphic design, video editing, or a related creative role; experience in an art gallery, museum, or creative industry is an advantage.
Strong portfolio demonstrating graphic design, photography, and video production skills.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and Lightroom.
Strong knowledge of graphic design, photo editing, video editing, and social media content creation.
Creative, detail-oriented, organized, and able to maintain consistent branding.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Willingness to work mid-shift, with occasional morning shifts as required.
