Job summary

A technology solutions provider is seeking a Junior Developer based in Manila. The role involves developing web applications using Java, following system life-cycle methodologies, and providing user support. Ideal candidates should have at least 1 year of experience and knowledge of MVC architecture patterns. The position requires onsite work 5 times a week.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a Junior Developer.
• Knowledge on architecture patterns, especially MVC.
• Experience in using web servers like WebSphere, Tomcat, or Glassfish.

Responsibilities

• Understand technical specifications and translate them to program code.
• Develop web-based applications and implement features using Java.
• Create design documents, perform coding, and testing.

• Understands the technical specifications and design and translate it to program code
• Develops web-based applications and implement features and functionalities using Java Programming Language
• Follows approved systems/applications life-cycle methodologies, creates design documents, and performs program coding and testing.
• Resolves technical issues through debugging, research and investigation
• Creates relevant technical documentations and manual for the applications
• Provides technical support to users.

What We’re Looking For

• Has at least1 year of experienceas a Junior Developer
• Has knowledge on architecture patterns, especially MVC
• Has experience in using web servers (WebSphere Application Server, Tomcat, Glassfish, etc.)
• Amenable to work 5x a week onsite in Manila
• Willing to accept Project-Based Type of Employment
