The Junior Art Director is responsible for creating bold, effective, and visually compelling campaigns across digital, print, and social platforms for diverse clients. This role partners with copywriters and the creative team to translate client goals and brand identities into stunning creative work. Key duties include designing cohesive layouts, ensuring brand consistency, presenting work with clear strategic rationale, and actively contributing innovative ideas to projects.
Design layouts for advertising campaigns across digital, print, and social media platforms.
Ensure strict compliance with creative and brand standards, translating guidelines into precise and effective design / art direction outputs.
Collaborate closely with internal creative team (e.g. copywriters and designers) to develop and deliver high impact creative solutions across various client needs and industry sectors.
Ensure brand consistency across all creative deliverables, aligning each campaign with the client’s goals and visual identity.
Present creative concepts to internal teams and key stakeholders with confidence, effectively explaining the strategic rationale behind the work and skillfully integrating feedback into revisions.
Explore and experiment with new formats, and visual storytelling techniques to keep content fresh and engaging.
Proactively seeks out professional development opportunities to improve visual storytelling, content strategies and best practices.
Actively monitoring industry trends and emerging software to continuously integrate new tools and techniques that enhance and optimize internal creative output.
Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Advertising, Multimedia Arts, or a related field.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a creative or design role (agency experience is a plus).
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
Basic knowledge of motion design or video editing tools (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro).
Ability to contribute new, innovative ideas during creative brainstorming and planning sessions.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to both present ideas effectively and provide/receive constructive feedback.
Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal oversight.
