Job summary

The Laguna Creamery Inc is seeking an Accounting Assistant to support the Finance and Accounting team in recording financial transactions, handling accounts payable, and cost accounting activities. You will process documents, monitor inventory, assist with month-end closings, and prepare financial reports to ensure accurate records and timely information for audits and management.

Onsite collaboration with departments in Biñan, Laguna.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accountancy, financial management, or related field.
Fresh graduates welcome; accounting experience is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.

Responsibilities

Assist in recording and processing financial transactions and maintaining accounting records.
Support accounts payable activities including clearing of advances, reconciliation, and document processing.
Organize, file, and maintain accounting documents for proper monitoring and audit compliance.
Assist in inventory monitoring, reconciliation, and month-end physical counts.
Support month-end closing activities and preparation of financial reports.
Coordinate with internal departments regarding accounting documents and discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.
Prepare and consolidate documents needed for audits and financial reviews.
Perform other accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
