Job summary

RBC-MDC Corporation in Cavite is seeking an Accountancy graduate to join the Finance team as a tax compliance and financial reporting professional. The role requires handling tax returns, EFPS filings, and coordination with government agencies to ensure accurate filings and timely assessments.

The ideal candidate will maintain organized records, prepare journal entries, and assist in audits. Strong communication and PC skills are essential to support daily accounting operations and regulatory

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accountancy.
• At least 1 year of work experience in accounting, with emphasis on Audit and Tax Compliance.
• Proficient in oral and written communication.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, with intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills.
• Preferably familiar with computerized accounting systems.
• Knowledgeable in local business taxation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit all applicable tax returns and supporting schedules for review and approval by Department Head and CFO.
• File all applicable tax returns to the BIR's EFPS.
• Assist in preparing reconciliation and schedules for submission to the BIR, as required for tax assessments.
• Liaise with Local Government Unit and various government entities during registration and tax assessments.
• Ensure that all compliance-related records are filed, organized, and archived.
• Prepare assigned journal entries.
• Coordinate with internal/external auditors when necessary.
• Organize files and archive documents in the company’s document management system.
• Ensure hard copies are stored in designated storage areas.
