Job summary

Sven Ingenuity, Inc is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance professional to establish QA standards, develop test plans, and drive regression testing across projects. You will collaborate with Product Owners and Lead Developers to improve quality and prevent issues.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, strong documentation skills, and the ability to communicate findings clearly to the Scrum team.

Job Description

P RIMARY ROLE ON QUALITY ASSURANCE

• Develop and implement QA standards within the organization to improve the standards and processes within the team.
  
• Identify materials needed to help improve the skills of team members on QA-related matters.
  
• Conduct regular QA improvement meetings and skill share sessions to help the team.
  
• Look for ways to improve ways of working including implementation of new QA tools and services such as automated regression testing.
  
• Works with Product Owners to implement UAC standards that help prevent common issues or common bugs from reoccurring.
  
• Work with Lead Developers to check on coding standards to help prevent common issues or common bugs from reoccurring.
  

SUPPORT ROLE ON DEVELOPMENT AND DEPLOYMENT

• Creation of quality and complete test plan and test script to test functionality, performance, stability, and compatibility with other systems.
  
• Conducts testing based on the test script on a timely and complete fashion.
  
• Properly documents his/her findings and can communicate this properly to the Scrum Team or project stakeholders
  
• Conducts regression testing to ensure the consistency and stability of a solution.
  
• Provides insightful and out-of-the-box solutions to bugs and enhancements that may b e found during testing.
  

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, management, or other related fields.
  
• A keen eye on details.
  
• Mobile development, web development, UI/UX background is a plus.
  
• An in-depth understanding on industry QA tools, standards, and policies.
  
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  
• Fundamental technical, analytical, and conceptual thinking skills.
  
• A track record of following through on commitments.
  
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  
• A history of supporting successful projects.
  
• Open to work onsite if needed, but otherwise have the flexibility to work from anywhere.
