Job summary

Avensys Consulting invites a Software Engineer to join our client team in the Philippines. The position offers a permanent, full-time role with a hybrid setup in Makati, working from 9am to 6pm.

The role requires 4+ years in JavaEE and 3+ years in Web development, plus strong OO design and mobile app experience as a plus. You will contribute to design, coding, testing, and deployment while collaborating with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in JavaEE software development
• 3+ years of experience in Web development
• Solid experience in Object Oriented Programming and Design
• Experience in developing mobile applications (Android, iOS) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Uses programming and database languages to write software code
• Identifies and reuses existing components and libraries
• Applies secure coding and code review practices
• Contributes to requirement analysis and estimations
• Supports testing, deployment, maintenance and evolution activities
• Builds software structure including functions and design patterns
• Documents solutions with comments and diagrams
• Contributes to software architecture studies and tech governance
• Codes large and complex modules within budget and deadline
• Performs design and code reviews and optimizes performance
• Coaches and can manage a small team of Software Development Engineers
