Our Clients in Makati City is seeking an IT Assurance Associate to support technology assurance engagements, focusing on IT controls, information security practices, cybersecurity governance, and business resilience.

The role collaborates with experienced consultants to perform risk-based IT audits, prepare workpapers and engagement reports, and contribute to governance documents. This is a Hybrid, full-time position in Makati with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, IS, or related field.
• At least 1 year in IT assurance, IT audit, cybersecurity, or tech consulting.
• Strong IT controls and governance knowledge.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in IT assurance and technology risk engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in executing IT assurance and technology risk engagements.
• Perform IT control testing and documentation.
• Prepare workpapers and engagement reports.
• Support the development of security policies, procedures, and governance documents.
• Participate in client meetings, walkthroughs, and interviews.
• Identify control gaps and recommend process improvements.
• Ensure project deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in IT assurance, IT audit, cybersecurity, or technology consulting.
• Strong understanding of IT controls and governance concepts.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications

• ISO 27001 Certification
• ISO 22301 Certification
• Certified in Cybersecurity (CC)
• CompTIA Security+
