Job summary

Metrobank seeks an Audit Officer to lead internal audit engagements across IT and application support processes, aligned with the established plan. You will perform risk assessments, deliver assurance and advisory services, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure audit objectives are met.

You will oversee junior staff, mentor auditors, and communicate critical findings and recommendations to management, strengthening controls and governance across the Bank.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (required).
• At least 3 years’ solid experience in audit.
• CPA or CISA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers internal audit engagements on IT and application support processes in line with audit plan.
• Performs risk assessments, assurance, advisory, and consulting activities per IA standards.
• Oversees team performance, mentors auditors, and communicates observations and recommendations.
