Job summary

Wisefund Finance Corporation Ortigas is seeking a cybersecurity professional to monitor, detect, and respond to incidents across hybrid environments. You will help develop incident response playbooks, perform forensic investigations, and collaborate with IT, vendors, and compliance teams during crises.

The ideal candidate has 2-5 years in SOC operations or incident response, strong analytical skills, and hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, and threat hunting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Postgraduate studies, certifications, or specialized training in incident response and forensics are an advantage.

• CEH, GCIH, CySA+, GCFA, ITIL Foundation certifications are preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, SOC monitoring, or incident response.

• Experience with forensic investigations, evidence handling, and log correlation.

Job Specifications

Educational Background:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

• Postgraduate studies, certifications, or specialized training in incident response and forensics are an advantage.

Certifications (Preferred/Desirable but NOT REQUIRED):

• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

• GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)

• CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+)

• GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA)

• ITIL Foundation certification

Experience:

• Preferably with at least 2-5 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, SOC monitoring, or incident response.

• Hands-on experience responding to incidents in hybrid environments (firewalls, switches, APs, Azure, ZTNA).

• Experience with forensic investigation, evidence handling, and log correlation.

• Proven ability to create and maintain incident response playbooks.

• Familiarity with malware analysis and threat hunting techniques.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency with SIEM platforms, EDR/XDR tools, and forensic utilities.

• Strong knowledge of network traffic analysis, packet captures, and log correlation.

• Familiarity with AWS GuardDuty, Azure Defender, and ZTNA monitoring.

• Ability to reconstruct intrusion paths and analyze attack vectors.

• Knowledge of compliance frameworks and reporting requirements for incidents.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills under pressure.

• Clear and concise report writing for incident documentation.

• Ability to collaborate with IT, vendors, and compliance teams during crises.

• Adaptability and proactive mindset for evolving cyber threats.

Other Requirements
