Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a qualified IT Security Operations professional in Quezon City, Philippines. You will be the first responder to cyber incidents, enforce IT security programs, and safeguard online and on-prem assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related IT field.
• At least 2+ years in IT Security Operations or cybersecurity.

• Infra security, OS, virtualization, networking, cloud tech awareness.
• Proficient with MS Office and monitoring applications.
• Certs like CompTIA Security+ or CEH are advantageous.

Job description

• Support the Security Operations, be the first responder to cyber incidents and threats, as well as implement and execute all duties in line with existing IT Security Programs, policies, and procedures as instructed by the Manager, IT Security or Director, IT Security Risk & Compliance


• Responsible for ensuring that the company's digital and computing assets are protected from unauthorized access and malware infection. This includes securing both online and on-prem infrastructures, analyzing metrics and data to filter out suspicious activity, monitoring technical security posture across the infrastructure, and finding and mitigating risks before breaches occur

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or any related IT discipline


• With more than two (2) years of hands-on experience in IT Security Operations, Cybersecurity threats monitoring, incident handling, forensic log analysis, detection


• Strong working knowledge of all IT Security Tools (Web Application Firewall, Email Security Gateway, Web Security Gateway, Endpoint Detection & Response, Privileged Access Management, Vulnerability and Patch Management Solution, Managed Security Operation Center (MSOC) alerts monitoring and remediation)


• Knowledgeable in Infra Security, Operating Systems, virtualization, network architecture, cloud technologies, Network Security, TCP/IP, and OSI layers


• Proficient in MS Office productivity tools, business applications, and monitoring applications


• Relevant certifications - CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CeH), or equivalent is an advantage


• Ability to document findings, create security incident reports and can communicate clearly to technical and non-technical


• Knowledge of security processes and procedures relating to change management


• Diligent attention to customer satisfaction, a high level of service orientation and professionalism
