The IT Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing the organization\'s information technology infrastructure, systems, and security to support financing and lending operations. This role ensures the availability, reliability, and security of business applications while driving technology initiatives that improve operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and customer service.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and implement the company\'s IT strategy aligned with business objectives.
Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud services, databases, and end-user devices.
Oversee lending, loan management, accounting, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
Ensure the security, availability, and performance of IT systems and applications.
Implement and enforce cybersecurity policies, data protection measures, and disaster recovery plans.
Manage software implementation, system upgrades, integrations, and IT projects.
Monitor system performance and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime.
Ensure compliance with applicable data privacy laws, financial regulations, and internal IT policies.
Lead IT risk assessments, vulnerability management, and security audits.
Manage vendor relationships, software licensing, and technology procurement.
Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective technology investments.
Supervise, mentor, and evaluate IT personnel and external service providers.
Provide technical support and training to employees on IT systems and security best practices.
Prepare reports on IT performance, cybersecurity, and technology initiatives for senior management.
Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
At least 5 years of IT experience, including 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Experience supporting financial services, financing, lending, banking, or fintech operations is preferred.
Strong knowledge of network administration, servers, cloud platforms, databases, and enterprise applications.
Experience with loan management systems, core financial systems, or banking software.
Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, access controls, endpoint protection, firewalls, and data encryption.
Familiarity with business continuity planning, disaster recovery, and backup solutions.
Experience managing IT projects, software implementations, and system integrations.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent leadership, communication, and project management abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft 365, virtualization technologies, SQL databases, and cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Experience with cybersecurity governance and regulatory compliance.
