Job summary

Satellite Office is seeking an experienced IT compliance and audit professional to oversee internal IT audit plans and coordination of all audit activity. You will maintain control registers, improve process documentation, and align IT standards with customer expectations while delivering timely reports to stakeholders.

The role requires governance, risk, compliance, and internal audit expertise, strong communication, and proactive problem-solving across a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification or relevant specialist certification in risk, compliance or internal audit.
• Extensive experience in governance, risk, compliance, or internal audit management.
• Experience designing, executing and closing out internal audit activities.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with strong analytical ability.
• Stakeholder engagement and relationship-building capabilities.
• Ability to manage time and reporting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver a robust internal IT audit plan.
• Coordinate internal/external audit activity across the organisation.
• Track and deliver management actions from audits.
• Maintain a central register of controls to support risk management and regulatory obligations.
• Improve documentation of internal audit processes.
• Review policies and procedures; update where necessary.
• Align IT standards with customer expectations.
• Develop reporting methodologies for end customers.
• Run weekly, monthly, quarterly reporting and audit checks.
• Manage PCI compliance processes, including documentation, monthly audits, testing and tooling.
