Job summary

Vertere Global Solutions, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to drive requirements analysis and deliver IT solutions in a complex enterprise setting.

You will manage intake, backlogs, UAT coordination, and key dependencies across business and technology teams, while shaping clear, testable requirements. The role demands 7+ years in business or product analysis, strong Agile and waterfall delivery experience, and proven facilitation and stakeholder communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical or business field is preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive business/requirements analysis in complex enterprise environments.
• 5+ years eliciting, documenting, and validating requirements and user stories.
• Experience delivering IT solutions with intake/backlog readiness, UAT coordination, and stakeholder alignment.
• Experience in both Scrum and waterfall delivery environments with cross-functional leadership.
• Experience in mainframe environments including COBOL, VSAM, DB2, CICS, APIs, and legacy integrations.
• Ability to turn ambiguous needs into clear, testable requirements and recommendations.
• Strong facilitation and executive communication skills.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Management Information Systems (MIS), Engineering, or a related technical/business field preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.




• Business analysis experience: 7+ years of progressive business analysis, product analysis, systems analysis, or software delivery experience in complex enterprise environments.




• Requirements management: 5+ years eliciting, documenting, and validating business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, functional specifications, and process flows for IT systems or enhancements.




• Delivery readiness: Demonstrated experience managing intake, backlog readiness, prioritiza, on support, dependency analysis, UAT coordination, and stakeholder alignment across business and technology teams.




• Agile, and waterfall delivery: Required experience working in both Scrum and waterfall delivery environments, with strong business analysis, Agile delivery, stakeholder management, Jira story creation, Agile facilitation, ceremonies, backlog refinement, and cross-functional delivery leadership experience.




• Mainframe environment experience: Required experience working in or supporting mainframe environments, including exposure to COBOL, VSAM, DB2, CICS, APIs, legacy integrations, interfaces, and cloud modernization initiatives.




• Ambiguity management: Advanced ability to turn ambiguous business needs into clear, testable, traceable requirements and decision-ready recommendations.




• Facilitation and communication: Strong facilitation, stakeholder management, executive communication, meeting leadership, and accountability management skills.
