Job summary

AECOM is looking for an IT Auditor in Manila to join the Audit Services Group. The role focuses on IT compliance, advisory and assurance projects globally, with hybrid work in the Philippines.

The successful candidate will participate in risk-based IT assurance, test design and operating effectiveness of IT controls, and communicate results to management while supporting process improvements. Travel up to 30% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, accounting, finance, internal audit, or related field.
• At least two years of auditing, technology, accounting, or related work experience.
• Must have strong oral and written communication; English fluency required.
• Professional certifications (CPA, CIA, or CISA) are preferred.
• Demonstrates understanding of IT systems and core accounting procedures and SOX 404 controls preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 30% including international travel.

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning, scoping, and execution of risk-based IT assurance and advisory projects including SOX 404 testing.
• Perform design and operating effectiveness tests of IT controls.
• Effectively communicate audit results to management.
• Identify opportunities to improve IT and compliance processes and controls.
• Work with stakeholders to develop action plans addressing root causes of findings.
• Maintain up-to-date IT knowledge and apply it to audit programs and recommendations.
• Develop relationships with stakeholders while maintaining independence and objectivity.
• Provide advisory services on moderate audit, accounting, and system issues.
• Contribute to department initiatives and share real-time information and best practices.
• Maintain SOP/DTP of processes and update documentation as required.
• Contribute specialized expertise to projects and report to Project Lead and Manager.
