CPS Asia Pacific is seeking an experienced IT Auditor to conduct independent, structured audits across internal systems and third-party entities, covering the full audit cycle from preparation to remediation follow-up.

The ideal candidate has strong IT Audit, IT Compliance, QA, or ISO implementation/audit experience, with solid ITGC, application controls, security, and data privacy knowledge. Hybrid work setup and competitive compensation offered.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical IT audit experience.
At least 5 years of relevant IT audit experience.
Strong knowledge of ITGC, application controls, and security compliance.
Experience with ISO standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and execute internal and external IT audits.
Assess ITGC, application controls, and security controls against criteria.
Identify control weaknesses and non-compliance.
Validate the integrity of audit evidence and trace data to sources.

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced IT Auditor to conduct independent and structured audits across internal systems, platforms, and third-party entities. The role will cover the full audit cycle—from audit preparation and execution to documentation, reporting, and remediation follow-up.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in IT Audit, IT Compliance, QA, or ISO Implementation/Audit/Certification, with a solid understanding of IT General Controls, application controls, security compliance, and data privacy. This role requires a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional who can work independently, communicate audit findings effectively, and handle sensitive and confidential information with a high level of integrity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and execute internal and external IT audits covering systems, platforms, system integrations, ISO management systems, security compliance, and data privacy requirements.

Assess infrastructure, system configurations, access controls, IT General Controls (ITGC), and application controls against established audit criteria.

Identify control weaknesses, control bypasses, unauthorized activities, security risks, and areas of non-compliance.

Validate the integrity, completeness, and reliability of audit evidence and trace data back to source systems when necessary.

Investigate anomalies, gaps, inconsistencies, or potential misrepresentation through evidence-based analysis and root cause investigation.

Conduct pre-audit preparation, system readiness checks, functional testing, and user/identity verification based on audit checklists and applicable standards.

Prepare and maintain accurate audit working papers, findings, test results, and supporting documentation.

Clearly document audit findings and recommendations for management and regulatory review.

Escalate high-risk findings and conduct follow-up investigations to validate corrective actions and remediation.

Participate in post-audit debriefs and assist in preparing final audit reports.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit methodologies, processes, checklists, and documentation standards.

Maintain auditor independence and ensure there are no conflicts of interest with systems, processes, or teams being assessed.

Ensure strict confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive systems, credentials, business information, and audit evidence.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience may also be considered.

At least 5 years of relevant experience in:

IT Audit
IT Compliance
Quality Assurance (QA)
ISO Implementation, Audit, or Certification

Strong working knowledge of:

IT General Controls (ITGC)
Application Controls
Access and Security Controls
Operating Systems
Networks
Databases
APIs
Log and Data Analytics

Strong analytical, investigative, and root cause analysis skills.

Evidence-based and forensic mindset with strong attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism when handling confidential and sensitive information.

Able to work independently and maintain auditor objectivity and independence.

Experience in regulated industry audit environments is an advantage.

Candidates with relevant certifications are highly preferred, such as:

CISA
CIA
ISO 27001
ISO 22301
ISO 9001
ISO 45001
Other relevant IT Audit, Information Security, or ISO certifications
