Job summary

SteelAsia Manufacturing Corporation invites an IT Audit Associate to help evaluate IT systems and processes for security, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. You will conduct audits under supervision and support IT controls improvements.

The role collaborates with IT and business teams, performs documentation of findings, and contributes to follow-ups on audit recommendations. No prior experience required; 1–2 years in IT or audit is a plus, with a view to professional certification like CISA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Understand IT systems, networks, and information security.
• Knowledge of business continuity and disaster recovery.
• Basic knowledge of IT audit principles.
• Familiarity with AI and ERP systems is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop IT auditing skills.
• No experience required; 1–2 years IT or audit experience is an advantage.
• CISA certification (in progress) or relevant IT certifications/courses is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assists in performing IT audits of systems, applications, and infrastructure – including business continuity and disaster recovery management, in accordance with the annual audit plan
• Helps assess IT controls and identify potential risks or control weaknesses
• Documents audit findings clearly and accurately
• Supports follow-up activities to ensure audit recommendations are implemented
• Participates in reviewing IT policies and procedures for compliance
• Works closely with IT and business teams to gather information and clarify audit issues
• Stays updated on basic IT security and audit best practices
• Complies with the global internal audit standards and the IIA code of ethics
• Participates in various culture-building activities
• Performs administrative responsibilities as required
