Job Description

The Didipio mine is located on Luzon Island in the Philippines and is the Company’s only asset that produces both gold and copper. Didipio was built by OceanaGold in 2013 and operates fully as underground mine, with over 800 employees that support the mine.

OceanaGold is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced, and reliableInvestor Relations Officer t to facilitate effective communication between the company and shareholders ensuring proper and timely communication of relevant information regarding activities and policies of the company. The role will report to theSuperintendent – Corporate Affairs.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee the Investor Relations Program to ensure all information regarding the activities of the company is properly and timely communicated to shareholders
  • Manage the corporate website including accurate stock information – key figures,dividends, and stock information
  • Work with Communications team on management of company news, analyst briefing report, latest news, press releases, newsletter (if any)
  • Undertake engagements with external stakeholders and perform other tasks as may be directed by the President and GM-External Affairs and Social Performance
  • Maintains database of investor contact (email address for feedback/comments, shareholder assistance and services)

  • Work with Legal team on compliance requirements with Government Regulators
  • Actively participates and promotes company safety, health andenvironmental programs and activities
  • Covers the role of the Direct Reports and peers when on break or on leave
  • Other reasonable duties as required by the immediate supervisor
Qualifications
  • Behaviour consistent with OceanaGold Values and the OceanaGold Way
  • Degree in finance or business or economic
  • 3+ years of experience in Investor Relations
  • 2+ years of experience in supervisory roles would be an advantage
  • Master’s in finance/commerce is a plus
  • Demonstrated knowledge of financial principles, economics, valuation processes, and a strong understanding of current stock market trends, market dynamics, industry competitors, and broader economic factors
  • Strong financial analytics and project management skills, with intermediate to high proficiency in MS Office Suite, ERP systems, and PowerBI; complemented by effective communication abilities—verbal, written, and visual—and a solid foundation in customer service and public relations
  • Proficient in analyzing, interpreting, and presenting financial reports, with the ability to manage the flow of financial information between the company, its investors, and the broader financial community
