Levanta Renewables is a renewable energy developer and independent power producer in Southeast Asia. We develop, build and deliver renewable energy solutions that work for each country in support of its transition to renewable energy, and do so in a sustainable manner while helping local communities. With a shared goal towards helping Southeast Asia realise its energy transition and net zero targets, Levanta is backed by Actis, a leading sustainable infrastructure private equity firm. We are developing 1.5 GW of renewable energy projects in Southeast Asia through M&A and greenfield development of utility scale and C&I projects.

We are seeking an Investment Analyst to join our Manila-based team. This entry-level role (1–2 years experience) will support the evaluation and execution of renewable energy investments, including financial modeling, due diligence, and portfolio performance tracking. The analyst will work closely with senior team members across finance, legal, and technical functions to ensure robust analysis and strategic alignment of projects.

Role & Responsibilities
Investment Analysis & Financial Modeling
  • Develop comprehensive financial models to evaluate new investment opportunities, including ROI, NPV, and IRR.
  • Analyze cash flow projections, risk factors, and profitability of proposed projects and initiatives.
  • Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to assess financial viability and risks.
Due Diligence & Market Research
  • Perform thorough due diligence for potential investments, including financial, operational, and market assessments.
  • Research industry trends, competitor strategies, and regulatory impacts to identify risks and opportunities within the energy sector.
  • Collaborate with legal, technical, and operational teams to gather insights and assess feasibility and alignment with corporate objectives.
Strategic Evaluation & Recommendation
  • Assist in assessing potential partnerships, acquisitions, and greenfield/brownfield projects based on strategic fit and value proposition.
  • Prepare investment reports and executive summaries to support decision-making by senior management.
  • Present findings and recommendations to leadership, providing clear insights on benefits, risks, and expected returns.
Portfolio Management & Performance Tracking
  • Support monitoring of financial performance for existing investments, tracking KPIs and identifying optimization opportunities.
  • Conduct post-investment analyses to assess realized versus expected returns.
Ideal candidate should possess:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
  • Experience: 1–2 years in investment analysis, financial modeling, or project finance; exposure to renewable energy projects preferred.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proficiency in Excel-based financial modeling. Understanding of valuation techniques (DCF, Comps, Precedent Transactions). Ability to synthesize data into actionable insights and clear presentations.
  • Personal Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
