• Finding sources of supply and obtaining quotes from suppliers.
• Eliminating surplus or obsolete stock.
• Reconciling physical stock with system records.
• Overseeing orderly arrangement of goods for easy storage access.
• Conducting periodic stock takes and verifying with designated staff.
• Supervising offloading processes and ensuring accurate valuation of inventory.
• Directing procedures related to offloading, packing, and unpacking.
