Responsibilities

  • Receiving and processing incoming goods: Checking orders against invoices, verifying quantities and quality, and entering data into the inventory management system.
  • Storing and organizing inventory: Ensuring proper storage and organization of goods in the warehouse to prevent damage and facilitate easy retrieval.
  • Conducting physical inventory counts: Regularly counting and reconciling physical inventory with the inventory records to identify discrepancies.
  • Updating inventory records: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all inventory movements, including receipts, shipments, and internal transfers.
  • Picking and packing orders: Accurately selecting and packing orders for shipment based on customer orders or internal requisitions.
  • Preparing shipping documents: Generating shipping labels, packing slips, and other necessary documentation for outgoing shipments.
  • Generating inventory reports: Preparing reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and other relevant data for management review.
  • Identifying and reporting discrepancies: Investigating and resolving any discrepancies between physical inventory and recorded inventory levels.
